The mission
Honey's Story
Honey was surrendered by her first family when she was just a puppy. Her second family gave her up too. Most dogs in that situation end up lost in the shelter system. Honey found Stefan.
Stefan saw something in Honey that others had missed — a calm, intuitive presence that seemed to know exactly what people needed. He began training her, and she took to it immediately. Today she holds certifications in both service dog work and animal-assisted therapy.
Honey has completed more than 500 community visits across 12 states — sitting with children in hospice care, comforting first responders after critical incidents, visiting schools and veterans' programs, and showing up for communities in crisis. Her work is documented, certified, and ongoing.
The treats that fuel her work are made to the same standard she is trained to. Every product in Honey's lineup is single-ingredient, USA-sourced, and free of fillers, preservatives, and additives. We call it the Honey On Duty Service Dog Standard — the same bar a working dog is held to, applied to the food she eats.
Every bag sold helps fund her mission. A portion of every sale goes directly to The Honey On Duty Project, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that covers Honey's travel, training, gear, and community visits. Buying treats is how you keep her on duty.
